Overstock.com Auctions makes it incredibly simple to put an auction listing online. Overstock.com Auctions are becoming increasingly popular most likely due to the traffic they already generate from their online storefront.

Mac Users: Currently the Sell your Item form does not work on the Mac in either Internet Explorer or Safari. Hopefully this is something Overstock.com Auctions will soon remedy.

PC Users:

Once you have copied your listing code proceed to Overstock.com and begin creating your auction as you normally would. Begin by entering the title of the item you are selling.

Overstock.com provides two methods for entering the description, the default is "Standard" as shown in the screenshot below. You will want to switch to "Your own HTML" mode.

To switch modes click the tab that says "Your own HTML" above the description box. The description box will make a change to accept your listing code as shown in the screenshot below.

Right click inside the description field and choose Paste. Your auction listing code has now been pasted into the description field!

You may now continue creating your auction as you normally would.
