Exciting News ~ eBay to Provide 12 Free Preview Pictures!
Starting in July, eBay will provide 12 images free to all sellers. These are the preview pictures that appear at the upper left hand corner of the listing, above the template. Soon you'll be getting even more image exposure when using eBay Picture Service (EPS) in conjunction with SSB's ability to include up to 100 images within your item description!!
As many sellers know - pictures are what sell an item and buyers appreciate a large number of pictures and descriptive text to make an informed buying decision. With SSB, you can continue to include over 8 times as many images within your listing!
Images sent by SSB to EPS will allow buyers with mobile devices to quickly & easily view them when they use eBay’s mobile app. But remember, including images within the body of your listing is very important too! Placing images within your listing allows the buyer to view them while reading your description, as opposed to continually scroll up to the top of the listing just to see the EPS Preview images.
We have received inquiries at our Help Desk regarding eBay’s picture requirements going into effect this fall, specifically regarding borders around pictures and the requirement that pictures be at least 500 pixels wide. The “borders” referred to by eBay are embellishments added within the image file itself using image enhancement software, and do not refer to your template. Our library of 3000+ templates may continue to be used.
The restriction regarding borders applies to the images submitted for the Gallery picture or for EPS “preview” pictures. Images you’ll be using within your item description (i.e. your template) are not affected by eBay’s upcoming requirements provided these are not the images chosen for Gallery or EPS. Please note that eBay’s new rules about watermarking apply to all images.

New Photo Layouts Available
Thumbnail layouts are now available for displaying images in your listings. Thumbnail layouts allow the buyer to view your listing images all at one time in one area of your listing as opposed to scrolling through the page! This gives the buyer the opportunity to hover over the image of their choice to see an enlarged view.
Thumbnail Layout Features Include:
Display up to 12 images in the thumbnail layout.
Hover over an image thumbnail to see the enlarged view.
Captions you have added to your images show below the enlarged view.
Thumbnail layouts can have thumbnails displayed on the right or the left of the enlarged view.

To select an Thumbnail Layout when creating your listing, hover over the "Image Layout" button on the "Listing Generator" and select the thumbnail layout you would like to use.

Bonanza.com Listing Launcher Available!
We now have a listing launcher to Bonanza.com available to all subscribers. For those of you seeking an alternative to eBay, we recommend that you check out their site! Bonanza has absolutely no listing insertion fees. You pay only a low final offer value (FOV). Click here to learn more about selling at Bonanza.
To use the Bonanza Listing Launcher, you must already have your account established at Bonanza, and your booth set up and activated. At least one listing must be posted via Bonanza’s sell form prior to attempting to launch from SSB. To activate the launcher, be sure to set up a profile for Bonanza and get your token. New Showcase Skins Released
We are pleased to announce the introduction of 43 new skins for the SSB Showcase. The new skins include a variety of colors, holiday themes and patterns. Below is a screenshot of the the skins that have been added. To set up a showcase or make a change to the showcase you have stored in your profile please go to the Preferences menu above and select Showcase.

Show Off Your Listings - SSB Showcase
The SSB Showcase is a great way to cross-promote your listings. It displays
a scrolling showcase of your other listings. Your buyer will be taken
directly to a listing when the gallery thumbnail is clicked.
Sample Showcase
A wide variety of colors & themes are available to "dress-up" your showcase so that it coordinates with your template, including several seasonal looks. You may create different showcases for your various profiles, and may also create them "on-the-fly" within the Auction Listing Generator.
